2/9/2026 - Southwest Gas crews are on the scene of a line break caused by a third party working in the vicinity of Maryland Pkwy. and E. Harmon Ave. in Las Vegas, NV. Gas is off, and we appreciate the public and our customers' patience as our crews work to make necessary repairs.
Southwest Gas reminds the public that a natural gas leak can be detected by a distinct sulfur-like odor, similar to rotten eggs, even if it’s faint or momentary; an unusual hissing or roaring sound coming from the ground or appliance; or blowing dirt, bubbling water, or discolored plants or grass surrounding natural gas infrastructure or pipeline markers. If you smell, hear, or see signs of a gas leak, leave the area immediately, then call 911 and Southwest Gas at 1-877-860-6020.
